Abstract

This study presents the main results of ‘The Opinion of the Population of Budapest on Crime, Victimisation and Restorative Justice’, a research project funded by the EU and led by the author for the National Institute of Criminology (OKRI). The results of the research confirm that the issues of latency and the sense of fear, security and insecurity must be specifically addressed among the population affected, with particular regard to those who have already fallen victim to crime.
