Abstract

The Frans Denkers chair on Safety, Security and Citizenship works in close relation to and collaborates with the police, the Municipality of Amsterdam and the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. The central goal of the Research Programme, performed by Frans Denkers chair is to further the understanding of the theoretical and relationships between safety, security and citizenship. The research programme provides an overview of significant developments in policy and security governance.
