The Sixth CEPOL European Police Research And Science Conference Report
Abstract
The Conference was organised by CEPOL and took place between 24 and 26 November 2008 on the outskirts of Vienna. The reports were delivered by 12 expert speakers from EU Member States and European institutions. During the conference the usual separation of “academic” and “practitioner” perspectives was strongly rejected. The conference was one of the CEPOL’s future oriented activities for the support and development of a European approach to the main problems of the Member States regarding the crime and the crime prevention.
